Perry Boyle Joins Cypress Capital Group’s Advisory Board

New York and Palo Alto, May 9, 2022 Private Equity Real Estate firm, Cypress Capital Group (“CCG”) today announced that Perry Boyle has been appointed to its Advisory Board.  Mr. Boyle’s distinguished thirty-year career as a senior leader at notable institutional money management firms will help launch Cypress Capital Partners 2022, CCG’s newest private equity fund. 

Commenting on the appointment, Wen Shiau, CCG’s Managing Partner, said,

Most recently, Mr. Boyle retired from a 15-year career at Point72 and SAC Capital where he was the Head of Equities, Head of Discretionary Investing and led an investment management staff of over 200 in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore.  He raised over $8B from sovereign wealth, institutional and family office investors at Point72.

Currently, Perry is the Chairman of The BOMA Project which empowers women entrepreneurs in Eastern Africa impacted by climate change.  As part of CCG’s mission statement to donate 10% of our profits to charity, we look forward to partnering with Mr. Boyle in this worthwhile effort.

Prior to joining S.A.C., Mr. Boyle was a founding partner of Thomas Weisel Partners, and a Managing Director at Alex. Brown & Sons. He began his career as an investment banker with Salomon Brothers Inc. Mr. Boyle received his A.B. in Economics from Stanford University and his M.B.A. from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
